My nephew Julian, turned 1 year old today!! I wanted to share with you some highlights of his Circus Birthday Party!! His Mama made all the paper hats, banners and such...I had no idea she was so crafty!

Birthdays are so much fun!! Speaking of birthdays...I signed up for a subscription to Smilebox so I'd have full access to all they offer without the ad pop ups. I am also learning how to upload my own music to the video's which is fun! I had to get ready because there is going to be a very special birthday coming early next year...I've got another little Arizona grannybaby due February 1st!! YEA for BIRTHDAY'S!!!

Annie Sloan Chalk Paints are HERE!

I'm getting ready to do some magic with some new paint I just ordered!

It's called Annie Sloan Chalk paint and it's the rage in Blogland. The initial kit comes with 3 cans of paint (1 free!) plus a can of clear wax and a can of dark wax. I have so many pieces that I'm planning on doing but will start small to make sure I know what I'm doing with it.

First up is a breadbox that I picked up at the thrift store for $2.50! Ima dummy...b/c I forgot to take before shots! UGH! Anyhow...here is a video of the application process, mainly so I can reference it when I am ready to go! I'll be sure to do some posts of the before's (if I remembered them!) and afters! This is gonna be FUN!

My Baby is 30...TODAY!!!

WHAAAA....I don't have any pictures of this beautiful girl on my laptop but I had to take a minute here and wish Allyson a very happy birthday!! Thirty years today. Wow!!! I'm not getting to spend any time with her today, b/c I'm in Phoenix helping her sickie sister, but we'll celebrate when I return! Happy BD girlchild...I love you and hope you have a marvelous day, even though you probably won't even read this blogpost! ; ) xxoo

Second BD to Littlest Grandgirl!

This little girl was born 2 years ago today! She's been such a delight to have in our family. Her own little quirky personality adds spice and her hugs add plenty of sugah!

Blog hopping give me good ideas....and this old TV cabinet was in Mom and Dad's basement. I tried selling it on Craigs. list and it couldn't even fetch $10.00 so I set out to figure out something functional that I could turn it into if I was going to have to carry it upstairs. It's heavy. REAL heavy!

And I love re-purposing things.

By the way, I couldn't sell those TV's either. They are now at the Thrift store. Hope they can sell them there!

So Poppie and I set out to make Kiki a kitchen center since she loves playing with the Little Tykes one on our back porch so much.

Here's what we came up with!

Probably the least expensive gift she got today.

But probably had more hours of labor put into it than all of the shopping trips combined! Ha!

It was our absolute pleasure to work on it!! Hope she has many years of fun making "goodies" for her family!

Sure wish her Gigi and G.G. Papa could have known how all the "craft items" they had in their basement would have been put to such good use!

Today, a special little man in my life turns TWO!!

Happy BD sweet boy!! You are such a handsome little man and have such a tender personality! Poppie and Grammy miss you so much, but so thankful you are in the Lords hands, making it okay that we are a million miles away from you!

Cha Cha Cha!!

Gotta little catchin' up to do...with lots of pictures!

I've been MIA but hoping to be more faithful in blogging. Just in case you wonder where I've been and what I've been doing...

We went to Florida! What a glorious trip!!

At P.F. Chang's, doing "Cheesecake shots" for dessert. Mine was raspberry and his was Apple Pie!

We did a LOT of this...

And here is another night...

And yet, another...

A kind gentleman offered to take our snap

And the day's we spent doing this....

In the evenings, we did this EVERY DAY!

Here we are at C.J.'s on Marco Island. It was our favorite spot!

And the next night, we went to Rib City in Naples. This was dinner for two! It should have been called dinner for 4 b/c we took home enough leftovers for another meal for both of us!

And on the way back to the condo, we got to see THIS!

The next night, we ate at Bucca de Beppo's. Oh me oh my oh...it's the BEST!

We were so full, we had to head back to the beach for another sunset!

And we stumbled onto this site. Sad...this sea turtle most likely was clipped by a boat motor...and either washed or crawled up onto the shore to to go turtle heaven. Everyone was very respectful of the ol' feller.

Then...we came home to THIS!!!

It was a LONG winter!

And I bought birds to put inside b/c I didn't think they'd EVER return to our area!

Then, Easter came....and so did Kiki!!

They spent this Easter with the other side of the family since Dennis had to work Easter Sunday.

I made a big meal for just the two of us anyhow.

And set a pretty table

We still have leftovers
