Another Weekend Update:

We had another country sleepover at Adam and Ally's house this weekend. This poor little baby just can't get enough of her Grammy and Poppie...she begged her mamma and daddy to let us come out and hold her!!!

Kiki doesn't care if Grammy fixes her hair or puts on make-up...or even gets dressed, for that matter! We love laying around being cozy with each other. In fact, Kiki loves it so much that she sleeps most of the time...STILL!

BUT...her mama got her a baby carrier at a really swell garage sale on Thursday, so Grammy tried it out this afternoon...and Kik's LOVED it! She actually fell asleep while Grammy was carting her around the house! (Speaking of "CART'...I sure miss Carter...and I cannot WAIT to get my hands on him in another couple months!!!) This little kangaroo fits real nice in this pouch!

THEN...her Poppie settled in to watch some golf. They both dozed for a couple hours straight!! Not quite sure who enjoyed it more...Kiki or Poppie!

I can't get enough of this little girl. She is just so stinkin' precious! Can't wait for her to wake up so we can actually PLAY sometime! She is just on the verge of smiling at us on purpose. She still looks at us with a confused look when we make weird noises...but it's coming. I'd say within the week!! Oh...while she slept on Poppie, Grammy and Mama made another dozen burp cloths. One can't seem to have enough of those things! Sure wish I'd have taken some pics of those b/c we got kind of creative with them! Maybe Ally can grab a snap of two of them!

Now...isn't this little neck just DELICIOUS??

And the hair on her little ear? Well, she thought I was going to rub it off!! These days are going to pass too soon and I don't want to miss a THING!! That's why these pics are going on my blog...so when she grows up, Grammy can still remember!

He Ya'll...a couple things here!

Brian just sent me a link to a FREE 6 month online photoshop class!!! You can click on THIS LINK to see if it's something you'd like to do too! It's going to be on Thursday afternoons...1 PM Central -approximately 3 PM. I'm sure I won't be able to keep up with it all the time, but I sure have been wanting to improve my photoshop abilities...and this will surely give me some tips! Thanks SIL!!!

Second...and more important...today Rylie started kindergarten!!! She's growing up way too quickly, but that's what kids do ya know! A new phase of life for her...and a new phase of life for her parents. Good times, hard times, times that you come to their defense and times when you know without a doubt they are wrong. All a part of the process of life...and I praise the ONE who gave it to us! May she come to know her Savior early in life...to HIM be the Glory!
We're proud of you Rylie Rooskie....you're gonna LOVE school!!
And they are gonna LOVE YOU!

Where are our feet??

Her Feet at Home

Nancy Leigh DeMoss: One thing the feminist movement has done so successfully is to stir up discontent among women who have responsibilities in the home.

My mom had six children in her first five years of marriage. She had an incredibly hard job, but she was content to serve in the role God gave her. She told me that she didn’t know she was supposed to be unhappy until others told her she shouldn’t have to deal with all the demands on her.

Her life stands in contrast to the women I know who look for satisfaction outside their home. While thinking they’ll find more meaning and fulfillment, they usually only find more stress.

Proverbs 7 describes a foolish woman and says, “Her feet never stay at home.” Has God called you to be a keeper in your home, serving your husband and children for His glory? Let me encourage you to stay with this important work. Keep serving for His glory and your ultimate satisfaction.

With Seeking Him, I’m Nancy Leigh DeMoss.
